One great thing about being based in Bath and Chepstow is that we can support events in the West and Wales. It’s now only a few days before the third annual Frome International Climate Film Festival, which is taking place at the Cheese and Grain in Frome, Somerset (Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May).
The winners have been chosen from a staggering 857 entries from 47 countries, making it a truly international event! The final films chosen by the judges are a wonderfully diverse mix of films - short and long form - that offer positive, inspiring and hopeful narratives on climate change and the environment.Leading up to the festival, organisers hosted a series of fringe events at the Good Heart. At the final event last Friday, One Tribe TV were invited to give a screening of our beautiful and moving film made for the BBC, ‘Wonders of the Celtic Deep‘ (Episode 4). I was thrilled to introduce the film, presented by the iconic Dame Sian Phillips (more info on our website). The screening was followed by far reaching discussion.
Festival organiser, Julia Wellard, said it was “A great way to end the fringe as we look ahead to the only free, dedicated international climate film festival!”
